Hello, my name is Rainner Lins. I'm a freelance web developer and tech junkie, originally from Brazil, now living in New York.

I can design and program web sites, or web related applications and web pages, fully custom and based on the client's demands. I can also optimize or upgrade existing web sites to comply with the latest in web standards or mobile requirements.   See projects

I have over 5 years experience working with server-side technologies such as Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP ( LAMP ). I have worked a lot with ActionScript ( Flash/Air ) building widgets for the web and also have built applications using the Flash Media Server ( FMS ) systems. I have experience working with client-side technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML, XHTML, CSS and libraries such as JQuery. I like to build things from scratch, or using my own scripts and systems, but i also can work with existing CMS systems such as Wordpress and Drupal.   See scripts

Although i value my work, i also think it's important to let the work i do speak for itself. Every work is different and it's not always easy to come up with a quote when asked, but since I'm a freelance developer, i can charge far less than most design firms and you can always reach me directly to check up on things instead at someone at the front desk.

• Graphic Design Concepts
  I can design a web site or page based on your rough drafts, mock ups or ideas and hand it to you in a .PSD Adobe Photoshop file.
• PSD/Flat-Image to XHTML
  If you already have a site designed the way you want, or if you are satisfied with a design i made, i can then turn your design into a functional web site.
• Site Upgrades & Optimizations
  Say you had a site build a long time ago and things are broken or outdated. I can repair issues and add in new features while keeping the same design.
• HTML5 or Flash Features
  You may have a site that requires special features such as videos/music players or file uploaders. I can have custom content such as these built in either Flash or HTML5.
• Server Configurations
  Have a dedicated server that needs tweaking? I can get in there and help you with things like installations, backups, config files, security, mailing, services and more.
